Sparkle City Laundry was founded by a dynamic father-daughter duo who bring together a lifetime of experience, passion, and a shared dream of building something meaningful.

Meet Jim – A proud United States Air Force veteran, Jim served overseas in England as a firefighter, dedicating his early years to protecting others. After his military service, he returned home to San Antonio, Texas, and continued that path as a firefighter with the San Antonio Fire Department. But beyond the uniform, he discovered a new passion—capturing stories through video. He founded Power Imaging, a video production company specializing in commercials and wedding films, which he successfully ran for two decades. Today, he serves as a Communications and Media Analyst for Toyota Manufacturing, a role that brought him to Greensboro, North Carolina, in 2024.

Meet Nikki – Driven by a passion for improving things, Nikki is a 28-year-old first-time entrepreneur who believes that even the simplest ideas can make a big difference.

With a background in HR and office management in Austin, Texas, she spent four years helping businesses operate smoothly behind the scenes. But in the fall of 2024, she felt a calling to create something of her own—something meaningful. That calling led her to notice a gap in the market: busy families, professionals, and students all struggling to find laundry services that were modern, fast, and reliable. The idea for a better laundry experience started to take shape. With encouragement and support from her dad, Jim, they began dreaming, planning, and laying the groundwork for what would become Sparkle City Laundry.

Together, Nikki and her dad Jim combine decades of professional experience, creativity, and a whole lot of heart to bring their customers something truly special.

More than just a business, Sparkle City Laundry is the result of countless late-night brainstorming sessions, shared values, and a mutual commitment to doing things the right way. Together, they believe in doing the little things well—because in their experience, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference
